Remote Lead Architectural Designer

Our client, a forward-thinking architectural firm, is seeking a visionary Remote Lead Architectural Designer to spearhead innovative design projects. This position is fully remote, allowing talented designers to contribute their expertise from anywhere. You will be responsible for leading the conceptualization and development of architectural designs, from initial sketches to detailed construction documents. This involves translating client needs and project requirements into compelling and functional spaces, ensuring aesthetic coherence and adherence to building codes and sustainability principles. You will manage design teams, guide junior designers, and collaborate with external consultants, engineers, and contractors to ensure the successful execution of projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of award-winning designs and a deep understanding of architectural theory, history, and contemporary practice. Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including BIM (Building Information Modeling) platforms like Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering software, is essential. You will play a crucial role in client presentations, articulating design concepts and strategies persuasively. Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills are paramount, as is the ability to foster a collaborative and innovative remote work environment. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture and a minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with a significant focus on leading design phases, are required.
