Job Description

Our client is seeking a diligent and skilled Remote Facility Maintenance Technician to manage and oversee maintenance operations for their portfolio of properties. You will be responsible for coordinating with on-site staff, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring all facilities meet stringent operational and aesthetic requirements. Core Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and coordinate the execution of cleaning and sanitation schedules for multiple facilities.
  • Manage a team of on-site janitorial and maintenance staff, providing guidance and support remotely.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure facility upkeep.
  • Respond to and resolve facility-related issues and emergency requests in a timely manner.
  • Conduct virtual inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and maintenance equipment, coordinating procurement as needed.
  • Liaise with external vendors for repairs, services, and specialized cleaning projects.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, expenses, and incident reports.

  • Contribute to budget planning for maintenance and operational expenses.
  • Proactively identify potential issues and implement solutions to prevent future problems.
  • Utilize remote management tools and software to track progress and manage tasks.
  • Coordinate and supervise deep cleaning initiatives and specialized sanitation protocols.
  • Ensure all common areas, restrooms, and workspaces are consistently maintained to the highest standards.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in facility management, property maintenance, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of cleaning protocols, sanitation best practices, and general maintenance procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using remote work tools, communication platforms, and facility management software.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective remote team and vendor management.
  • Ability to interpret and implement health and safety regulations.
  • Experience in supervising or managing a team is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) is a plus.
  • Must be self-disciplined and capable of working independently in a remote setting.
