Remote HVAC Technician Lead

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Technician Lead to manage and execute remote diagnostic and support operations. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems within a fully remote capacity, supporting clients and field technicians across various regions. You will be responsible for providing expert-level technical guidance, troubleshooting complex HVAC issues remotely, and developing comprehensive repair and maintenance plans. This role involves analyzing system performance data, diagnosing faults through remote monitoring tools, and advising on preventative maintenance strategies. You will also play a crucial role in training and mentoring junior technicians, sharing best practices, and ensuring high standards of service delivery. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience with a wide range of HVAC equipment, including commercial and residential systems. Strong diagnostic abilities, a deep understanding of electrical and mechanical principles related to HVAC, and proficiency with diagnostic software and tools are essential. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills are paramount for this remote-first position. Certification from HVAC programs (e.g., NATE) and relevant trade licenses are highly desirable. A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience as an HVAC technician, with demonstrated leadership capabilities, is required.
