Our client, a prominent leader in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector, is actively seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Operations Manager to join their fully remote leadership team. This critical role will oversee and optimize all aspects of the supply chain, from procurement and logistics to inventory management and distribution, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of products to market. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to manage complex global supply chains in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

- Develop and implement strategic supply chain initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Oversee procurement processes, including vendor selection, negotiation, and relationship management, ensuring a reliable supply of raw materials and finished goods.
- Manage all aspects of logistics and transportation, including freight forwarding, warehousing, and distribution networks, optimizing routes and carriers.
- Implement and maintain robust inventory management systems to ensure optimal stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Analyze supply chain data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, manufacturing, and finance, to align supply chain operations with business objectives.
- Develop and manage the supply chain budget, ensuring adherence to financial targets.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols.
- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, developing contingency plans to address disruptions.
- Implement and leverage technology solutions (e.g., SCM software, ERP systems) to enhance supply chain visibility and efficiency.
- Drive sustainability initiatives within the supply chain, focusing on environmental and social responsibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with significant leadership experience in the FMCG industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, and inventory.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain best practices, methodologies, and technologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) processes.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex global supply chains and navigate international logistics.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
